Executive AirShare
continues to gain momentum from capital improvements
with the opening of its new Operation Center in the
Wichita market.
The nation’s
third-largest fractional aircraft provider recently
moved into a new facility at Col. James Jabara
Airport (AAO), increasing its hangar space in the
Air Capital by 35 percent.
The 25 Wichita
employees move into this new facility with two
hangars totaling 27,000 square feet and an adjoining
7,000-square-foot office from the company’s previous
facility at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National
Airport (ICT). The company’s aircraft and employees
will now be located closer to customers at Jabara,
Wichita’s primary executive and business aviation
airport.
“This move allows
us to facilitate Wichita customers with greater
efficiency and service,” says
Harry Mitchel,
Executive AirShare’s chief operating officer.
“Wichita, as our first home, will always be an
important location for us. This demonstrates that
commitment to the market.”
Jabara Airport’s
location and convenience assists in recruiting trips
for Gregg
Marshall,
Wichita State University men’s basketball coach.
“During the
season, after a typical day of practice, at 6 p.m.,
I can jump in a plane and I could be at a game at 7
in Arkansas,” Marshall says. “Executive AirShare is
great at making a game plan so the trip can be
successful and we can get a win out of the trip.
Preparation is the mother of victory and they do a
great job in being prepared.”
With the upgraded
Jabara facility, Executive AirShare acts as an
authorized service center for Embraer aircraft. The
company flies the Embraer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300
aircraft as part of its advanced young fleet. The
Wichita move follows a facility upgrade at Executive
AirShare’s base at Fort Worth Meacham International
Airport in 2015 and the company’s move to its new
headquarters in Lenexa, Kan., in April.
