Jet Aviation receives Hong Kong CAD approval for G650 aircraft

Jet Aviation recently received approval from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) to support Gulfstream G650 aircraft with line and base maintenance.

Jet Aviation’s maintenance facility in Hong Kong is an approved Gulfstream Factory Authorized Warranty Service Center for G450/G550/G650 aircraft. With this approval, it is authorized to provide line and base maintenance to Gulfstream G650 aircraft registered in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Macau and Hong Kong.

“Our goal is to provide required business aviation services as close to demand as possible,” says Nigel Parker, managing director at Jet Aviation Hong Kong. “We are delighted to expand our maintenance capabilities to extend support to all owners and operators of G650 aircraft in the region.”

Jet Aviation also has a 24/7 aircraft management and charter operation in Hong Kong that currently manages more than 30 aircraft. Six of these aircraft are G650s.

Jet Aviation Hong Kong offers line maintenance, inspections and defect rectifications, as well as AOG support, and has access to a 9,200 square meter (99,027 square feet) hangar. The company holds Hong Kong CAD maintenance repair station approval and an FAA repair station certificate #6JAY388B, and mainland China JMM approval for PRC-registered aircraft. In addition, it services aircraft registered in 11 other countries through Jet Aviation's maintenance approvals in Singapore, which include EASA #145.0461, Aruba DCA, Australian CASA, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, Indonesia DGAC, Macao MAR-145, Malaysia DCA, Philippines ATO, Singapore CAAS and Thailand DOA.
