F/LIST takes over OHS Aviation Services
Austrian VIP aircraft interiors manufacturer expands to Germany

Internationally renowned manufacturer of high-end interiors for private jets, mega yachts and luxury residences, F/LIST, has taken over the business operations of OHS Aviation Services GmbH, located at Berlin Schönefeld airport, as well as its subsidiaries in Stuttgart, Wildau (Brandenburg) and Basel.

The acquisition by the newly founded F. LIST GERMANY GMBH - a 100 % subsidiary of F. LIST GMBH, based in Thomasberg, Austria - strengthens F/LIST's position in the European market and expands its portfolio of services through the acquired additional certifications.

Expanded range of services

The complimentary competences of OHS and F/LIST will facilitate the expansion of F/LIST’s portfolio: Through the acquired new certification EASA Part 145 (DE.145.0333) F/LIST will integrate OHS’s highly successful core maintenance business - such as interior and exterior cleaning of business and private aircraft, as well as seat repairs, re-upholstery and partial exterior painting - into its services portfolio.

Additionally, the new certification EASA Part 21J DOA (EASA.21J.235) allows the design and clearance of plans for interior components without feedback loops to the airframe manufacturer. Thus F/LIST can cover the entire value chain from planning through to the installation of its interiors, saving customers time and money.

The acquired certifications benefit all of F/LIST’s locations, further expediting the international expansion of the Austrian family company.

Investments in hub for Europe

As a result of longstanding cooperation, the two companies know each other's competences and requirements.

Together with Lufthansa Technik AG, F/LIST operates the joint venture INAIRVATION, which offers integrated cabin solutions for business and private aircraft. The cooperation with distribution partner LBAS and the strong hub in Berlin will be key factors in the planned strengthening of INAIRVATION.

F/LIST is planning extensive investments at all acquired locations, especially in IT infrastructure, machinery and equipment. OHS’s 31 employees remain with the new company and with the planned extensions and investments in the coming years this number is expected to rise. Hand in hand with the extension of the locations comes an intensification of customer acquisition: FBOs in Berlin and all of Europe are intended to profit from F. LIST GERMANY’s on-site services. In general, the airport Berlin Schönefeld is deemed an ideal location to cover all of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa with the offered refurbishment services in the future.
