Daher has announced the appointment of J. P.
Martins Aviação as its exclusive TBM Authorized Distributor for Brazil.
The company has marketing and sales
responsibility for the TBM 910 and TBM 930 very fast turboprop aircraft, as well
as providing parts and technical support for TBM aircraft currently operating in
Brazil.
J. P. Martins Aviação is based at São Paulo’s
Campo de Marte Airport, with bases in the cities of Goiânia and Londrina. The
company was created in 1965 by Jeremias de Paula Martins - a figure in Brazilian
general aviation - for aircraft sales, subsequently developing activities in
parts distribution and maintenance.
“The general aviation expertise and the
passion of its team led to our selection of J. P. Martins Aviação as our new
authorized distributor for Brazil, where there is a strong demand for our TBM
aircraft - with 25 aircraft already registered in the market,” commented
Nicolas Chabbert,
Senior Vice President of the Daher Airplane Business Unit. “We are confident J.
P. Martins Aviação will provide excellent care for the existing fleet, while
developing TBM sales in Brazil, where aviation is crucial for the economy.”
