TAG Aviation has expanded its
Mobile Repair Team (MRT) operations following a new collaboration with Polar
Aviation of Finland.
The new partnership will
enable a MRT to be dispatched to clients within hours of any reported AOG
issue anywhere in Europe as well as other Western countries, including
Russia.
Clients can now benefit from
the joint resources of highly trained and skilled technicians with extensive
maintenance experience being able to expediently diagnose and rectify faults
for any kind of aircraft maintained by TAG and Polar Aviation wherever
maintenance support is needed and, importantly, assist an aircraft out of
base to reduce the time a plane is grounded.
“This exciting collaboration
means a far wider reach of our MRT capabilities. TAG is now able to serve
clients from North to South and East to West, swiftly deploying qualified
experts to attend any unforeseen AOG situation with the same technical
capabilities, authorisation and quality systems as we employ in our repair
centres”, said, Philippe Rabier,
Vice President Maintenance Sales, TAG Aviation Europe. “Wherever in the
world maintenance or repair is required, clients can be assured that mobile
staff are able to quickly respond to their specific needs, ensuring greater
flexibility and turnaround time.”
