Silver Air’s PURE Management expansion continues into San Diego

Silver Air, the private jet manager and charter operator, has added a third Citation X to its managed fleet and will operate the renovated jet out of a new base at the McClellan-Palomar Airport near San Diego, Calif.

Expanding its PURE Management model, Silver Air has completely renovated the ultra clean and modern Citation X that is ready for charter immediately. In addition to the Citation X, Silver Air has recently added a Gulfstream G200, Challenger 300 and an Astra SPX to its managed fleet.

“Silver Air’s PURE Management is an innovative and transparent approach to aircraft management that owners are gravitating to at an accelerated pace,” said Chuck Stumpf, Silver Air executive vice president. “With our recent additions of a Gulfstream G200, Challenger 300, Astra SPX and now our third Citation X - plus more large cabin aircraft coming in the next few months - the Silver Air team is continuing the strategic growth of our new managed fleet while maintaining the highest attention to service on our charter flights. Jet owners see value in the transparent approach, and our charter clients are enjoying the white-glove service.”

Silver Air’s Citation X model is a fast and feature-rich corporate jet ideal for business or personal travel to Hawaii or across the country. Complete with a well-appointed, roomy cabin designed for conducting business or relaxing en route, the Citation X model is the world’s fastest business jet. The Citation X out of McClellan-Palomar Airport features complimentary in-flight domestic Wi-Fi, as well as a full service galley featuring a high-end assortment of DEAN & DELUCA snacks, and select Central California wines.

The company's PURE Management model treats jet owners as partners rather than assets, creating quality management plans at the best value. Unlike traditional jet management companies that act as multiple service providers, Silver Air does not profit from selling fuel, maintenance, hangers or other fixed costs back to jet owners. Instead, Silver Air expertly manages the multiple service vendors on the owner’s behalf ensuring a cost effective and transparent relationship.

The Silver Air fleet features light to large-cabin jets including: Gulfstream GIV-SP, GIV, Dassault Falcon 2000, G200, Challenger 300, Cessna Citation X, Astra SPX, Lear 60, Beechjet 400A, Citation CJ3, Citation CJ2, and Phenom 100 models.

Silver Air’s charter operations have earned the ARGUS Platinum Rating for their demonstration of the industry’s highest safety practices. Silver Air manages privately owned aircraft around the US from Southern California to the Bay Area and Dallas.
