National Jets has a lot to be grateful for this year as it celebrates its 70th anniversary and most recently its approval of becoming Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International's (FLL) newest DCA Gateway FBO under the DCA Access Standard Security Program (DASSP) - the program that governs business aviation access to Washington’s Reagan National Airport (KDCA).

According to Reggie Nichols, National Jets’ General Manager and FBOSSP Security Coordinator, the application process took approximately three months, which included paperwork, the establishment of a security program, training, and inspections by the TSA. The agency determined that the existing facility would not require modifications to comply with the FBOSSP regulations.

"Adding our DCA Gateway approval only adds to the conveniences that we are able provide our customers, " remarked Sam Robbin, CEO.

With flight operations dating back to 1947 with the Durham Flying Club and its initial leasehold at FLL in 1961, National Jets continues to make investments both into the operations and personnel of its Top 10 Independent FBO and #1 Rated FBO at FLL for 15 years straight (ProPilot PRASE Survey). Launching in January as a non-branded fuel dealer for the first time in over 20 years and also being the launch partner for GMSTEK's - X1 FBO software.

National Jets is exhibiting at the Morristown, NBAA Regional in September (Booth 901) and later in October at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas (Booth C8521).
