On Friday 20 July, Gear Up TV and Emerald Media will be heading up an event on behalf of Women in Aviation International's UK chapter aimed at schoolgirls aged 11-14. It takes place in the Lloyd and Navigate Rooms at the airshow on Friday morning between 10am and noon.
Among a huge roster of speakers there is wannabe astronaut and BBC star Tess Naran, Baroness Sugg, Minister of Aviation, Dame Deidre Hutton, Chair of the UK CAA, Cat Burton - highest ranking female pilot for British Airways when she retired, (fingers crossed) Kirsty Murphey - former Red Arrow pilot, and Jeannine Fernandes of NATS.
