Sumati Sharma is passionate about diversity. So much so, that in spite of her busy role as Vice President of Product & Commercial at Virgin Atlantic, she consistently finds time to show up as a leader on the Women in Aerospace and Aviation Charter.

In this interview, Liz Moscrop and Sumati talk about race and gender diversity as well as the importance of data and insights-led change.

When approaching conversations around diversity Sumati shares a simple but powerful tool; put yourself in the other person's shoes and see the situation from their viewpoint. She also reminds us that we are all leaders in our own way and can pay forward as motivators for change.
