ACC Aviation opens Fort Lauderdale office as US charter demand climbs

ACC Aviation, the global aviation services group, is marking its third anniversary of operating in America with the formal opening of its fourth US location and new US Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The new office, located at 550 South Andrews Avenue, complements bases in New York City, Atlanta and Houston, all overseen by ACC Aviation President Americas Jamie Harris.

Mike Jennings.Heading up the new US HQ and overseeing the growing team in Fort Lauderdale is Mike Jennings.  Mike joined ACC Aviation in summer 2020, bringing years of sales and operational experience.  Mike’s industry success with Eastern Airlines and Chapman Freeborn, combined with the relationships he has built over his career have made a significant and immediate impact on the trajectory of the ACC group.

“The ACC differentiator was clear from the outset when I joined,” Mike said.  “ACC has industry leading knowledge and airline relationships, built up over 20 years.  We are building something special here, and there is no better place to plant our roots than the travel and tourism hub that is South Florida.”

“We are delighted to be opening these new headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. It’s an ideal location for the next stage of our US expansion,” said ACC Aviation CEO Phil Mathews. “South Florida is host to leading airline operators, manufacturers and complementary engineering and technology suppliers.”

“Domestic US flying was one of the first sectors to rebound when the pandemic subsided and international travel is also now bouncing back,” highlighted Jamie Harris. “Several sectors that cut down on their charter activity, including meetings and incentives and cruises, are now coming back. We are ready to deliver solutions and further widen the client base,” he said.

“Undoubtedly, the pandemic has helped charter as companies continue to seek secure and reliable ways to travel,” he concluded."
