World Aero celebrates 25 years of excellence in aircraft wheel and brake maintenance

World Aero, a leading aircraft wheel and brake MRO provider based in West Sussex near Gatwick Airport, is commemorating its 25th anniversary this year.

Founded in 1999 by Phil Randell, the company has grown from a solo operation into a team of over 25 skilled professionals dedicated to delivering consistent, reliable service to customers worldwide.

"I'm extremely proud to reach this significant milestone," said Phil Randell, Founder and CEO of World Aero. "When I started this business 25 years ago, I never could have imagined the incredible journey it would take. Our success and longevity are a testament to our amazing team's commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and superior customer service."

From its humble beginnings, World Aero has remained steadfastly focused on its core mission - providing a comprehensive suite of MRO services to commercial and military aviation clients. The company's steady growth over the past quarter-century can be attributed to its unwavering pledge to get the job done right, every time.

"We're not trying to reinvent the wheel, so to speak," Randell explained. "We simply offer a safe, consistent experience that our customers can rely on flight after flight. Our team takes immense pride in ensuring each wheel and brake system meets the highest standards of airworthiness."

A defining characteristic of World Aero's 25-year run has been its ability to remain an independently owned operation. Resisting industry consolidation trends, the company has never pursued acquisition by larger conglomerates, allowing it to retain the family values and culture that have been key to its success.

As World Aero marks this major anniversary, Randell is taking time to celebrate the company's decorated past while also looking ahead to the future. "I'm so grateful to our incredible team, past and present, as well as our loyal customers who have put their trust in us year after year. The aviation industry will keep evolving, but our commitment to excellence will never waver."
