KazakhstanPure Technics: the path to expansion |
Kazakhstan's corporate and private aviation market is gradually expanding. This comprehensive and harmonious growth is inconceivable without technical maintenance that complies with international standards and rules.
One technical maintenance provider, Pure Technics, has massively expanded its technical capabilities and is now announcing three new areas aimed at end-to-end services to maintain the airworthiness of Embraer 135/145 (Embraer Legacy 600/650), Beechcraft King Air 300 series planes, and Leonardo AW139 and Airbus H145 helicopters (EC-145/MBB BK117 - C2 and D2 variants).
"I'm pleased to announce that Pure Technics successfully passed an audit by our country's Aviation Administration as well as the certification procedures as an aircraft maintenance organization, which opens new opportunities for our clients," says general director, Andrey Lysenko.
"During the training, our team has been joined by new leaders. In particular, the company welcomed Dmitriy Sokolov as executive director, who has valid engineer license for maintenance of the airplanes and helicopters newly supported."
"The Pure Technics team and I have carried out colossal joint work," says Dmitriy Sokolov, who headed strategic development for Pure Technics. "The company gained new impetus and a path to renewal, leading to the completion of a first critical stage: renewal of its aircraft maintenance certification and mastery of new types of aircraft. I'm very grateful to our team for that."
As a result of the training and certification, three fundamentally new areas have been created at the service center.
The first targets helicopter operators, of which there are many in Kazakhstan, thanks to the economy's well-developed energy and mining sectors. Pure Technics performs line and base maintenance of Leonardo AW139 and Airbus H145 helicopters (EC-145/MBB BK117 - C2 and D2 variants).
Because our professional team has improved in terms of labor-intensive forms of maintenance, operators experience less downtime performing scheduled and unscheduled checks. Pure Technics has been bolstered by specially instructed and trained B1, B2, С, engineers which allows the company to perform the most labor-intensive technical maintenance checks.
The company has hired mechanics to gradually grow and establish the training of young staff.
We have special tools, special maintenance platforms, special mobile maintenance tables, supports for uninstalled and inspecting helicopter blades and so forth, and consumables for routine technical maintenance.
Pure Technics Service Center now is in active conversations with operators.
The second area is maintenance of Beechcraft King Air 300 series (350, 360i) turboprop planes - the workhorses used in Kazakhstan to perform various aviation services related to passenger and cargo transport. These planes are in high demand in the market, and their operators should know that in autumn 2023 Pure Technics held successful talks with Textron Aviation Inc., the US manufacturer of King Air and Cessna planes.
As a result, the Pure Technics team gained experienced and professional engineers. We purchased special tools and consumables. We signed a memorandum of cooperation with an operator of this type of plane in a neighboring state.
We are currently negotiating the terms of a maintenance contract and working to have local aviation authorities validate our MRO certificate . Also, we plan to negotiate and partner with one of the Beechcraft King Air 300 series plane operators in Kazakhstan.
"Relying on my professional experience, I'm confident that the development of this area will lead to additional sales of this type of plane in the region," says Dmitriy Sokolov, "and that Pure Technics comprehensively support Textron Aviation Inc in this by providing highly professional after-sales maintenance services."
What services are these?
Pure Technics plans to develop for the maintenance and repair of the components installed on this plane.
And the third new service from Pure Technics relates to the Embraer Legacy, the most popular business jet in the post-Soviet space.
"Line maintenance of Embraer 135/145 planes is also a rather promising area, and we are already talking with customers about providing on-duty engineers and technical support for their planes at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport," says Dmitriy Sokolov, noting that Pure Technics is ready to provide technical management (Engineering service) and decoding flight data information. "Negotiations in this area are underway with potential customers."
Pure Technics general director Andrey Lysenko shares his colleague's optimism that the Pure Technics team has become the industry's attraction for professionals, including among young people, and has every chance of becoming one of the employer and growth driver for the state programs being implemented by the Kazakh government in relation to maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft in accordance with the highest international standards and rules. This has happened because the Kazakh market is the largest in Central Asia. It has become an engine of growth for commercial and special aviation in the region.
