Amsterdam, NetherlandsWeb Manuals digitizes OEM PDF documentation with latest launch |
Global leader in digital documentation Web Manuals is revolutionizing the way aviation businesses handle large, complex Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) PDF files with the launch of its OEM PDF Reader, designed to increase productivity and enhance document usability.
Users of Embraer, Boeing or general OEM PDF manuals can now seamlessly upload multiple files at once, combining hundreds of pages and PDF files into a single document for quick review. Web Manuals will automatically file important details such as document name, short code, and revision information, while keeping the modular structure and ensuring simple, user-intuitive navigation.
Document editors can easily highlight changes and connect a ‘Revision Bar’ to them to clearly display updates, while reviewers can swiftly navigate amendments to ensure they are efficiently tracked and implemented.
Designed in the familiar layout and with the same functionalities as other file types, operators can feel assured that all OEM PDF documentation complies with regulations and quality standards, while minimizing the risk of human error.
Richard Sandström, chief technology officer at Web Manuals says: “Having a unified OEM PDF document management system allows users to access a broader range of files via Web Manuals, streamlining workflows and boosting operational efficiency. Consolidating extensive OEM PDF documentation into one digital platform and simplifying navigation will be key to empowering our customers to manage OEM PDF documentation more effectively.”
The OEM PDF Reader will be launched in the Web Manuals Core 2024.10 update, due for release in Q4 2024.
