Atlantic Aviation and Pitkin County finalize 30-year lease at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport

 

 

Atlantic Aviation has completed a new 30-year lease agreement with Pitkin County, continuing its role as the FBO at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE).

The landmark agreement underscores Atlantic Aviation’s dedication to providing incomparable service to the aviation industry while driving innovation, sustainability, and community engagement.

"We look forward to working closely with the Aspen community to deliver a safe, community-beneficial, and environmentally state-of-the-art operation and to providing exceptional service and support to the aviation community and their passengers for many years to come."

The lease reflects Atlantic’s commitment to supporting local and regional priorities. Key elements of the agreement include:

The redevelopment projects will include state-of-the-art facilities designed to achieve Net-Zero, LEED Zero, and Platinum Zero Waste certifications, while pursuing Aspen’s Water Integrated Resource Plan’s Net Positive Water objectives. Additionally, Atlantic will support key local programs focused on affordable housing, aviation education, conservation, and noise mitigation. The agreement also incorporates significant improvements for local pilots and aircraft operators, including a 1,500 square foot pilot planning and support building and tie-down infrastructure.
