United KingdomThe ACA announces Air Charter Excellence Awards Winners 2024 |
Leading global trade body, The Air Charter Association (The ACA) hosted the 2024 Air Charter Excellence Awards on November 21st at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole.
The Air Charter Excellence Awards is a standout event for the industry, with 500 air charter professionals coming together to celebrate the achievements of the past year. The evening consisted of a pre-dinner reception, followed by a three-course gala dinner and ‘The Excellence Awards Ceremony’, featuring ten awards, presented by their respective sponsors.
Following the launch of The ACA Internship in 2024, the Association was delighted to welcome all of the participating interns to attend the event and recognise their achievements with the creation of a new intern award category.
The ACA takes a proactive approach to sustainability and has implemented measures to mitigate the travel impacts of the event by offsetting via The ACA’s sustainability partner 4AIR. The ACA has also partnered with the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole to ensure the immediate event footprint (water, energy & waste) is fully offset through purchase of carbon credits to be invested into global sustainability schemes.
Kevin Ducksbury, chairman of The ACA says: “Congratulations to all the award winners and nominated finalists, it is a pleasure to see the hard work and achievements of our members being recognised. Thank you to all our sponsors and members who attended for their continued support, ensuring that the Air Charter Excellence Awards event continues to be one of the highlights of the industry calendar.”
