Air Elite Network continues steady growth
Adds YU Lounge, Jet Centre Curacao, and Ecuacentair

World Fuel Services has added four new FBOs to their growing Air Elite Network.

YU Lounge, located at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (TKPK) in Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis; Jet Centre Curacao, located at Hato International Airport (TNCC) in Willemstad, Curacao and Ecuacentair, located at Mariscal Sucre International Airport (SEQM) in Quito, Ecuador have signed with the network.

Operated by Leeward Flight Services Limited, YU Lounge officially signed with the Air Elite Network in December, 2014 at the Middle East Business Aviation exhibition in Dubai. YU Lounge’s private airport terminal features a luxurious lounge and first-rate services for passengers and crew. Beyond the standard FBO/Flight Handling services such as fuel and ground handling, YU Lounge offers travelers a unique personal concierge experience from the moment they step off of their aircraft.

"We look forward to growing globally with the Air Elite Network.”

Jet Centre Curacao at Hato International Airport (TNCC) in Willemstad, Curacao

Jet Centre Curacao recently started operations in January, 2015 and is Hato International Airport’s first private terminal dedicated to serving business & general aviation customers with a luxurious experience. The FBO offers a wide range of services including on-site customs & immigration services, security, food & beverage, and meeting room facilities. The airport currently receives approximately 3,300 private aircraft arrivals per year, and that number continues to grow.

"Jet Centre Curacao is very excited to be one of the newest members of the Air Elite Network along with the other quality FBOs who have recently joined the network. We look forward to the increased industry marketing presence at shows, while partnering Jet Centre Curacao with the strength and reputation of the Air Elite brand" said Ralph Blanchard, CEO of Curacao Aviation Partners.

Ecuacentair, located at Mariscal Sucre International Airport (SEQM) in Quito, Ecuador

Ecuacentair, an Ascent branded FBO, operates a modern, attractive facility within the General Aviation Building at Mariscal Sucre International Airport. The facility was built in 2013 and is staffed by an experienced aviation services team that works closely with the aviation community in Quito to provide guests a positive experience when visiting the local area. With full passenger/crew amenities and aircraft support, Ecuacentair is a trusted partner on the ground in Ecuador for comfort, ground handling coordination and fuel coordination.

“Ecuacentair’s experienced team strives to provide our customers a best-in-class FBO experience when visiting Quito by anticipating and meeting our customers’ needs. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to be one of the first Air Elite FBOs in the Latin American market and we are excited to grow with the network in the future” said Silvio Tano, FBO Director of Ecuacentair.

With these additions, the Air Elite Network now has 37 locations worldwide. The network was established in late 2011 and each FBO must meet a number of airport, facility and service quality standards in order to qualify for membership.
