Coverage from
AERO
Friedrichshafen
this week where Daher debuted its
TBM 910 turboprop
following certification from the FAA and EASA on
March 24th. The 910 is similar to the TBM 900 in
terms of range, performance and technical features,
but benefits from a new all-glass integrated flight
deck from Garmin and cabin interior enhancements
identical to the high-end TBM 930 version.
The
DEA General
Aviation Group of China (DEAGA)
showcased it's new Gyrocopter - the Rotor Schnieder
ultra light co-axial VA115 - currently in the
process of certification. CEO
Mike Creed
tells us all about it.
Diamond
Aircraft,
meanwhile, unveiled three versions of its new DA50
high-performance single, all of them powered by
diesel engines. Set for certification next year, the
aircraft first flew in March. The Austrian firm is
also set to enter the helicopter market, and
unveiled the DART 280 light-single piston-engined
rotorcraft. There's also an interview with
Simon Caldecott,
Piper's CEO about the company's brand new M600, a
jet, he says, that will be a strong contender for
the emerging Single Engine Turboprop sector in
Europe.
