RocketRoute has all the expertise to address the more complex flight planning requirements for Europe, Richard Willis, Senior Business Development Manager pledged last week.

It is able to turn around a complex flight plan in less than an hour - if it has already assessed that particular route.

“Under two hours if we have not assessed the route to date, but a lot of it is dependent on the knowledge of the region, operator and how much support is required," Willis said.

“We are excited to see the new SETops legislation in place and are keen to work with colleagues to support the SETops community and continue to develop the product as best meets their needs. For operators who already use RocketRoute, please keep the feedback coming,” he urged, "and we will do our utmost to incorporate improvements within the Flight Planning application and other areas of our business such as Concierge Trip Support."

While RocketRoute already has a number of SETOps live on its Business Account, it will also have a number of SETops enhancements due to be implemented shortly, which will really strengthen the company's offering, including the pre-packaging of regular routes into a portfolio.

One of its key business areas is the Concierge Team. Its main function is full trip support. “However, we have a very flexible approach on how we can support our clients," Willis continued. "It does not need to be full outsourcing, though it could be. You can request to have route feasibility studies carried out producing route catalogues. This would allow the operator to determine if the trip is a go or a no go, very quickly, crucial in such operations. With most of the pre-planning and research done, the major overlay would be the weather, to check the impact on the diversion airfields and ensure it remains a viable route."

"We are supporting a number of PC-12 operators with this at the moment and it is complements their operations very well."
