Deer Jet has become the first Chinese private
jet operator to fly from China to the Antarctic.
The arrival of the company’s Gulfstream G650
at Wolfs Fang airport marked the launch of a new charter service between China
and Antarctica.
Deer Jet is known for its pioneering role in
transforming business aviation in Asia and the world. More than 22 years ago the
company established itself as the first private jet operator in China and, from
humble beginnings, is now the largest business aviation group in Asia.
Not only is Deer Jet’s new Antarctica service
a milestone for China’s business aviation, the operation is also contributing
significantly to the development of international air travel and transportation,
providing access to the world’s most remote areas.
Deer Jet had prepared for over a year for this
especially challenging flight, conducting and evaluating hundreds of risk tests,
flight routes, together with flight support and emergency plans to ensure a
flawless and safe operation.
After buidling the new route, Deer Jet will
add Antarctica to its travel itineraries, which currently span 800 airports
across 180 countries and territories. The Deer Jet network comprises on-demand
charter, aircraft management, brokerage, ground handling, FBOs and medevac.
