Private jet booking platform PrivateFly has
become a preferred partner of Virtuoso, the world's leading luxury travel
network.
The new partnership will allow Virtuoso’s
network of over 16,000 travel advisors, based in 45 countries, to offer private
jet travel to their clients, through integration with PrivateFly’s technology
platform and 24/7 team. PrivateFly provides access to an accredited global
network of over 7,000 private charter aircraft and the deal follows the
company’s takeover of US charter broker Bird Dog Jet in November 2017.
Adam Twidell,
CEO of PrivateFly comments: “This partnership with Virtuoso is a milestone step
in our b2b growth strategy. Private jet charter is fast emerging from its
exclusive niche and becoming more integrated in the travel industry through
technology; better and clearer pricing; and a greater awareness of private air
options.
“At PrivateFly we saw a year-on-year increase
of 45% in b2b bookings in Q4 of 2017, and we expect this trend to continue, as
more and more travel agents turn to private aviation - to deliver truly
excellent, luxurious and memorable travel experiences for their clients.
“Virtuoso's 2018 Luxe Forecast points to
luxury travel trends which are very well-served by private aviation, such as
multi-generational and celebration travel; remote and far flung locations; and
shorter trips (where faster and hassle-free travel becomes even more important).
So the potential for future growth is exciting. Through this new partnership,
we’re looking forward to showing more travellers how private air travel can
deliver a truly exceptional travel experience.”
