Ross Aviation has acquired the ownership and
operation of the Alaska Aerofuel FBO located on the Fairbanks International
Airport (PAFA) in Fairbanks Alaska.
The FBO features a modern Executive Terminal
with all the amenities and comforts of a world-class FBO to include an on-site
US Customs and Immigrations clearance office.
“Fairbanks has long been known as a premier
Tech-Stop location, much like Anchorage its neighbor to the South where Ross
Aviation also operates two FBO’s. We look forward to complementing our presence
in Alaska with Fairbanks where our customers will now have a choice as to where
to clear US Customs and Immigrations when traveling inbound to the United
States” said Jeff Ross,
President and CEO.
Alaska Aerofuel specializes in quick
turnarounds and deicing, and has hangar space available for overnight parking.
The company will retain its branding and Paul Gibson will remain as
President/General Manager of the FBO.
Ross Aviation’s executive team brings over 100
years of experience to each location, partnering with trusted local management
at every FBO. Ross Aviation is well known for its superior customer service,
with a particular emphasis on a philosophy that embraced the uniqueness of each
airport and FBO market.
The company also firmly supports a
decentralized system whereby managers are granted authority and responsibility
to operate and optimize their business based upon the unique circumstances of
each specific location. This decentralized approach coupled with strong
relationships with the local airport authorities at each airfield should ensure
a seamless transition upon acquisition for its customers as wells as long term
success for the businesses.
Ross Aviation currently owns and operates 9
FBOs located on 7 US airports. ANC, FAI, FAT, HPN, LGB, SDL and TRM.
