Signature Flight Support has commenced
operations of a renovated terminal facility at the Charlottesville Albemarle
Airport in Charlottesville, Virginia following a grand reopening ceremony
marking a $1.9m dollar investment in the Charlottesville community.
An upgraded exterior terminal façade
compliments a full interior refit of the 10,000 sq. ft. facility, which now
showcases a selection of modernized passenger amenities including a new lobby,
coffee bar, conference room, and internet café. Further refinements aimed at
flight crew members comprise of a new crew lounge, quiet rooms, and an
innovative take on the front counter concept which enables a more participative
customer service experience from Signature staff members.

capital improvement projects throughout our worldwide network of Fixed Base

President and Chief Operating Officer of Signature Flight Support. “Every
location in our network strives to provide an extraordinary experience, and the
renovation of our existing FBO facilities represents a key component of our
strategy to drive long term value for our stakeholders.”
The four-month long project also renovated
portions of the facility to benefit based flight departments and aviation
business, and added environmental upgrades such as the installation of LED
exterior and interior lighting.
