The aircraft sales division of Germany-based general aviation and air ambulance specialist operator FAI Aviation Group has announced the sale of two Learjet 60 aircraft from its inventory.

Serial number 161 and Serial number 203 have been sold to German-based corporate clients. Both aircraft will continue to operate on FAI’s AOC under management contracts.

The aircraft will be available for VIP charter from the German cities of Berlin and Leipzig respectively. Serial number 161 was delivered to its new owner last month and is immediately available for charter. Serial number 203 will become available from the end of this month following a full refurbishment including a new paint scheme and a new interior.

Both aircraft are equipped with Satcom and offer a spacious stand-up cabin with all-leather seating for six passengers in complete comfort. With a range of 2300nm, the Learjet 60 is ideal for trips from either Berlin or Leipzig to Paris, Moscow, the Balearics or Greek Islands and would suit both corporate or leisure passengers.

The new stylish design of the refurbished Learjet 60 mirrors the owner´s passion for Ferrari cars featuring striking high gloss carbon veneer cabinetry complemented by grey leather seating. The work is being undertaken by FAI’s MRO division, FAI Technik. This latest project follows FAI Technik’s successful completion of a Bombardier Challenger 604 refurbishment project in December 2017.

With a total of eleven Learjet 60’s in service, FAI continues to be the largest Bombardier Learjet 60 operator worldwide.
